The ‘Tater’s Guide to Choosing the Right Politician: A Libertarian’s Take on Trump and Musk
Ah, the eternal conundrum: which political party do I support? As a proud punk rock libertarian, I’ve always been skeptical of the two-party system. But, after years of searching for the perfect candidate, I’ve finally found a couple of rebels worth backing. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m talkin’ about Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
Now, I know what you’re thinkin’: “Trump? Has he gone soft? What about all the tweets and scandals? And Musk? Isn’t he just a rich, entitled dude with a flair for the dramatic?” Well, let me tell you, I’ve been around the block a few times, and I’m not one to follow the herd. He didn’t start any new wars, unlike his predecessors, and his “peace through strength” approach has kept the world at bay. Economically, he’s a deregulator extraordinaire, cutting corporate taxes and freeing up innovation. And let’s not forget his reciprocal tariffs, which have levelled the playing field for American businesses.
Now, Musk, on the other hand, is a true disruptor. He’s fought against government censorship, championed free speech, and rejected the farce of ESG nonsense. He’s accelerating human progress, pushing the boundaries of electric vehicles, AI, and space exploration. And let’s not forget his free-speech-loving подход to social media.
Now, I’m not saying I agree with everything these two have done. Trump’s bump stock ban, for example, was a bit of a betrayal. But in a world where most politicians are hell-bent on expanding government, starting wars, and taxin’ us to death, Trump and Musk are pushing back – hard.
Liberty isn’t about purity; it’s about direction. And right now, Trump and Musk are steering us towards freedom more than any other major figures. So, for the first time ever, I’m supporting a mainstream candidate: Donald J. Trump.
